There were many books that inspired me but the one that recently inspired me was Coming to Our Senses by Jon Kabat-Zinn. The author added the following quote to his doctoral dissertation: “He who dies before he dies does not die when he dies” (Kabat-Zinn, 2005, p. 486).

Kabat-Zinn, J. (2005). Coming to our senses: Healing ourselves and the world through mindfulness. London: Piatkus Books Ltd.

“The Zahir” by Coelho and “Veronica decides to die” by the same author as well as Tehmina Durrani’s “Blasphemy” were amazingly inspiring.
